Which Product Is Right For Me?
We will discuss your specific requirements and circumstances to make sure you get the best product for your strategy, but these key questions will help narrow it down:
- Do you prefer a Caged Ball Design? Gun Runner utilizes a Caged Ball Design
- Do you require a contingency device? Gun Runner covers that base
- Do you have high pressure to contend with? Platinum variants of the Flare and Gun Runner are designed specifically to work in high-pressure environments up to 15,000 psi

Falcon Frac Plug
Utilizing aspects of the field-proven Flare and Gun Runner plugs coupled with a new seal design, the Falcon plug offers unmatched isolation in the harshest of environments. Able to operate in temperatures up to 350°F and true differentials up to 11,000 psi, the Falcon outperforms the traditional expectations of a frac plug. Available in multiple configurations for both fresh and produced water completions to make sure it is there when you need it and gone when you don’t.

– Ball-drop or ball-in-place configurations
– Optionality: Multiple configurations including the Gun Runner, Flowback, Screenout Preventer or Standard configuration
– Available in two varied materials to be used with fresh or produced water. Coating available to further tailor the dissolution window to specific needs.
– No speed limit while RIH!
– Pump down options available for specific applications
– Metal Falcon seal design provides robust seal surface developed for extended fracs and casing ovality variances without the extrusion issues experienced with rubber elements.
– Patent pending seal assembly continues to seal with added force from treatment pressure providing greater isolation than conventional elements.

Concealed Carry Frac Plug
The Concealed Carry Frac Plug introduces a smarter, more efficient approach to plug-and-perf operations by combining a cost conscious, bottom set design with our field proven Flare seal technology. The plug’s unique concealed ball configuration keeps the ball protected while running in hole, allowing for the ball to naturally remain near its internal seat and not have to find purchase on a traditional mandrel seat.

– Incorporates field-proven Flare seal design
– Ball-in-Place cavity inside the plug provides close proximity to ball release to the seat
– Visual confirmation of frac ball prior to installation onto seating tool
– Bottom set, anti-pre-set design ensures you get to set depth successfully
– 10,000 psi rating at 350°F

Gun Runner Frac Plug
The Gun Runner proves that not all dissolvables are created equal. Gone are the days of throwing money down the well when a plug run is successful, yet the gun run is not. Uniquely designed to maximize efficiency and prevent untimely tractor runs when things don’t go as planned, the Gun Runner allows you to pump back down by flowing through the plug after it has been set until a specified rate is achieved. Once that predetermined rate is met, mechanical isolation is achieved, and you can begin treating. Available in multiple configurations for both fresh and produced water applications to make sure it is there when you need it and gone when you don’t.
Our engineering team is here to help. Jet Oil Tools will collaborate with you to help determine which rate setting is best for your application.

Why Choose Gun Runner?
Caged Ball Configuration
Ideally suited for those applications where pumping a ball down is not preferred. Jet’s caged ball configuration, complete with contingency device, allows for fluid bypass in the event of a misrun or misfire after the plug is set. No need to fire a gun to allow for a follow-up wireline run and compromise your stage.
This feature is only available in the Gun Runner and Platinum Gun Runner.
Contingency Design
Jet’s Contingency Design allows for bypass in the event of gun string issues. In the event there is a misrun or the gun string loses communication, a second assembly can be pumped to bottom without having to run another plug. This is a requirement of some operators but not all find it necessary. Once a pre-determined pump rate (set by the customer, pre-job) is reached, the gun runner mandrel ports close, the ball seats, and pressure isolation is achieved. In the Flare Plug, pressure isolation occures as soon as the ball seals off the ID of the plug.
This feature is available in the Gun Runner, Platinum Plug, and Platinum Gun Runner.

Platinum Variants
Jet’s Platinum line is available in both the Flare Plug and Gun Runner configurations. Specially designed for those high-pressure treatment scenarios. In comparison to the standard 10k design, the Platinum line offers a longer profile, more mechanical engagement with the casing and all the benefits of the Flare and Gun Runner features.
